Course Outcomes (COs):

At the end of the course the student should be able to: 

  1. Interpret the mathematical foundations for digital manipulation of images, image/video acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction and segmentation.
  2. Apply principles and techniques of digital image/ video processing in applications related to digital imaging system design and analysis.
  3. Gain hands-on experience in using software tools for processing digital images and videos.
  4. Design, code and test a given image/video processing application using software tools.
